I thought the third act was REALLY stupid

Right when the main character comes back as the dead athelete played by Chris Kattan, for me the movie just fell apart as my suspention of disbelief went right out the window. If they had to have him come back in the body of someone else who's already died, I thought at least have it be someone who's just died but who no one knows is dead yet. Instead he comes back as a guy who's in a hospidal and having his organs removed. I mean just think of the upset it would cause if a body that was known to be dead just suddenly sprang back to life without warning.

The rest of the film up to that point was good, but when they got to the reincarnation part, I just went,"What the hell...?"

it wasn't real, its a fantasy film based on a graphic novel.

the corpse with the broken neck running down the road and throwing his organize was FANTASTIC... best bit.. its a wacky comedy not a Drama.

no one moaned when Harry potter casts a spell.. (wtf) or when a skeleton rose from the ground in Argonauts.. just think of the upset caused when Jack stole Christmas... shame on them.

This was definetely the funniest part of the whole movie. I laughed out loud at the dead guy running with a broken neck, taping his guts together so that his organs won't fall out. And the doctors chasing him: "We don't wanna hurt you - we just want your organs!"

Brilliant! :)

OK, he drives backwards in his car, with a big gasinflated plastic figure in his back behind him - and he hurts himself that bad, he falls in a coma. Ever heard of an "air-bag"? Talk about, when the disbelieving started()

There was originally a longer version of that scene that was simply cut for time that made much more sense. If you have any interest, the deleted scene is on the DVD.

I did find the scene funny, however it did bug me a little that the corpse not only already had organs missing and a broken neck and kept going while losing organs.

I could suspend disbelief with the coma world and death because that was all spiritual. If spirits could take over non functioning corpses then they could have sent Monkey Bone or anyone else up anytime. Just steal an exit pass.

Still was done well as far as entertainment value though.
