Jack Black??

Jack Black is credited as "fisherman" in this movie - I've seen it several times, and can't find him anywhere. Does anyone know where, or if, he appears?

I'm willing to bet that it's another Jack Black. It's not the rarest name. Probably if you typed his name under "People" as an IMDB search, you'd get a handful of names.

"But, Mr. Grey- I'm your secretary!"

OK, so I went back and watched the movie, and it is, indeed Jack Black. He is a scruffy (duh) - looking fisherman in the scene where Helen and Janet make up after their fight. He knocks on the window of the restaurant, and several older-looking fisherman look up and wave at him.
To get to the window, he kind of jumps over a fence or post of some sort in typical Jack Black fashion. His hair is shoulder-length and curlier than usual.
What's interesting is that i saw him on The Ellen Show when he was promoting School of Rock, and they never said a word about it - they were in the same scene together! I suppose this happens all the time on talk shows, though.

I don't recall the exact scene but I know that the setting is in a cafe or the like and there is an old man inside sitting at a table near the window and a young man outside doing something on a boat when the young man (jack black) jumps down from what he is doing he turns going to the window of the cafe, gets the old mans attention and they wave each other off.
