Soundtrack

I guess this movie was finally released to DVD as I found it at the local rental shop. Enjoyed it greatly. However, I went out to buy the stoundtrack this weekend and can't find it in existence anywhere. I know one must exist as the credits told me to look for the available soundtrack. Any thoughts????

Dude, I just bought the movie and did the same as you about picking up the soundtrack. I rolled the closing credits and it said the soundtrack was available on MCA Nashville, I've checked all over the net and can't find squat.
I've even been to some Marty Stuart fan sights and nobody has any info. Usually Allmusic.com you can find any info you want but to no avail. You hear any thing, holla.

I'm in the same damn situation! I really don't think it was released! What
I am really interested in is knowing who did the track "Ghost Riders In The Sky"
in the film. I know I heard Dwight Yoakam doing back up vocals! If you know
who did this track, please let me know! Thanks!

Hey guys, i too have been searching for the s/t to this movie, but to no avail. If you guys liked it, you might try hunting down the "Falling from Grace" s/t the movie that John Mellencamp did. The movie is great as well. Not as much of a "black" comedy as "Daddy & Them", more than it is a dramatic film. The movie came out in '92 i think so it may be hard to find as well, but worth the hunt.

Well, heres the deal with the soundtrack...
The song GHOST RIDERS IN THE SKY was sung by RAY BENSON from ASLEEP AT THE WHEEL and DWIGHT YOAKAM. The soundtrack also featured Dwight and Sheryl Crow on a song called RIDING ON A DREAM which was written by Marty Stuart. The soundtrack was completed and being ready to be shipped to stores and the film didn't go to theaters like they originally thought so they nixed the soundtrack project right there and never released it.
Too bad too......

Amazon still has it listed but as 'Currently Unavailable'. The minimal details are: Audio CD (January 1, 2002), Label: Mca, ASIN: B00008G48L. It doesn't seem to have ever seen the light of day anywhere; US or Europe.
