Watching Daddy and Them, Sordid Lives, and Daddy's Dyin', Who's Got the Will always makes me wonder where the cameras were, because they remind me of so much of my family.
Only thing is, nobody I know sleeps with the window open when there's no screen. You've got to have screens to keep the bugs out.
A few other things I thought was missing from a Southern movie. Where were the kids and dogs/pets? It seemed weird to have all those married couples and adults in general with zero children of any age.
It's hard to believe OT and Elbe wouldn't have one hound dog around the place. Especially since the boys like to go out shooting. Shooting and dogs seem to go together.
