i mean the blood was red paint or ribena or sumtin all oter rapper movie are good like get rich or die tryin, waist deep, the wash, poetic justice and all 2pac's.

shareThis really isn't a "rapper movie" it would not be fair to compare this to movies like Above the Rim or 8 Mile or that stupid movie with 50 cent.
This was a horror movie that happened to have a rapper as the star.
And FYI when this film came out, that was when Snoop's career was struggling. He was with No Limit and his *beep* was whack. He was a struggling rapper at that time, not a rap star.

shareNot only 'rapper' movie. It's even bad for b-movie standards. And it hurts to say cause Snoop always been one of my fav rappers and he's a smooth actor if he wants to. It would have been cool if the movie was made out of those drug dealing scenes cause they looked smooth and the acting was pretty good.

The fact that you consider The Wash a better movie than this says it all really
Besides the blood in one scene that did look pretty bad I was pleasantly surprised by the effects and how much effort they put into making it a visual experience
Nobody reads books anymore! Movies are always better, especially sequels
