I just have one question to pose to members of this board. Backstreet Boys or 'N Sync? My own choice is Backstreet Boys. They may not have had a single future superstar - Justin Timberlake - but they were more cohesive. Maybe them not having that star helped them; any one of them could grab the spotlight and nobody would be annoyed that The Other Members were taking time away the The Best. Oh, and "I Want It That Way" was the best song released by either group. It easily challenges even the New Kids On The Block's finest moments for pop supremecy. Regardless of all else, the Jackson 5 will forever be the alpha and omega of ultra-hyped quintets. Why have all the mainstream male pop groups had five members? Look to Motown for the answer to that one.
