name of song of When the Sky Falls question

Anyone know the name of the song that Sinead O'Connor does in this movie near the end of it? Thank you

It's called "Full Circle", but unfortunately, there wasn't a soundtrack released, and it didn't feature on any of her albums:

"Sinead then introduced the next song, “Full Circle”, explaining that it had been recorded for the film “When The Sky Falls”, about the life and death of the journalist Veronica Guerin, adding that unfortunately there won’t be a soundtrack to the film and that, as it didn’t make it onto her album either, she thought it would be nice if she performed it for us tonight. The song was originally written and performed by Loreena MacKinnett. I haven’t heard the original, but I have to say that Sinead’s performance of the song was gorgeous and I’m hoping that it will make it onto one of her upcoming single releases."

uber_gaz is correct. The original version of "Full Circle" is featured on Loreena McKennitt's album, "The Mask and Mirror" (one of her strongest recordings--but, as a fan, I really enjoy them all). Loreena wrote the song honoring both the men who chant their prayers in worship at Moroccan mosques and, specifically, the monks calling their god at the Benedictine monastery in St. Benoît-du-Lac, Quebec. Sinéad's version is also beautifully performed. While remaining faithful to the original, she emphasizes a more dirge-like quality, lending to its appropriate emotional impact in the movie.

I've found it for download on Limewire, but that's it after about a year of hard searching. It's the live version that was mentioned in a previous post, I'm downloading it right now so I don't know about the quality of the recording yet. It really is a stunningly beautiful piece. I am also a big Loreena McKennit fan and adore both versions, they have both moved me in such a way that can only be described as peacefully magic. They are both great in their own way, each voice brings it's own beauty to the piece. It's a sign of truly good writing when a piece, whether music or otherwise, can hold it's integrity and recreate itself from recording to recording.

Sorry for the gushing.

Cheers!
