800AD? I doubt that... Greek Mythology and a greek location, that places it BEFORE the fall of greece to the romans, which places it BC. 800AD would be in the dark ages with the catholic church running rampant through europe about 200 years before the crusades...

In this fantasy Syracuse is Greek. That gives a time frame. Im too lazy to look it up.
