The brilliance and emotion of this movie never fail to move me. Everything about it - the sentimentality, the humour, the characters. Levinson is so amazing as a director and can evoke such a great range of emotion in his audience.

Liberty Heights never fails to make me laugh and feel good, and then make me feel sentimental and cry.

Levinson deserves appreciation for such work as Liberty Heights. What a legend.

My best friend and I saw this FOUR times in our town's oldest theater before they tore it down for the new one they built in the downtown area. This film will always remind me of that place and have a special place in my heart.

"Lemme at 'em! I'll splat 'em!"
