i didn't love it but it was ok i guess. i don't get why people hate it so much.

Same. It was pretty enjoyable and funny. I think people hate it because they think all movies can be compared to each other. It's like comparing Dumb and Dumber to Lord of the Rings. D&D would get it's ass-kicked, but it's still pretty funny (the first few times).

Only thing I hated was that little 'Puff Daddy' kid (GOD he was annoying) and how his Rae just suddenly decided to take a cart? I think if she had appeared behind him after he ran out and saw the plane left, it would have worked better. The cart thing was just weird O.o

You see that yellow stuff? That's my awesomeness.

Me too.
All the improv was great! No one can write a script with all the little witty crap that comes out of foxx's mouth.
I thought the casting was also good.
Only problem was the actors playing the hick cops; other than the sherrif and Jake Busey.

It was ok.

It went slow and wasn't that gripping, but I have to admit that the ending made watching the whole movie worth it. I just saw it like five minutes ago, anyone else love that ending on the bus?

I didn't like it at all the first time I saw it. After a few years passed I watched it again and really enjoyed it. It is very corny but I guess it caught me in the right mood because I've now watched it several times. The guy playing Rodrigo was pretty funny.

Status? ... Commander? ... Mission? ... Waaaar.

Yep, underplayed but brilliant.

The producers have done the movie a GREAT injustice by not paying the music director enough. The score is weeeeaaaak.

With a little more dramatic score, this movie will have an impact couple of magnitudes more than what it does now.

That is a very good point, asnatu. The music used in the opening credits really takes the cake. What were they thinking?

Back off! ...Way off!

Im watching it again.... What a sstupid movie but i love it.

I loved it, too. Very low budget, but especially for fans of absurdist comedy, the scenarios and dialogue are very funny, and it's a got a great cast who turn in good performances.
