I normally go to explore and log every system on the charts, then I'll check out some of the easter eggs and try to get the Titan, though I normally don't keep it for too long, I like some of the other ships a lot better.

Several options...

1/. Try a different style of play.
Chances are you've finished the game and been a generally good Trent along the way. You've hunted criminals and kept on the right side of the law?
Try being a Pirate, blowing up transports and nicking their cargo to sell, relying on the Jump Holes to get around. Or a Smuggler, avoiding the Police and doing what you must to survive, but no so much that you upset the wrong criminals either. Then there's the Bounty Hunters - Plenty of criminals to hunt down and very few friends when you need them the most!
Being a Trader is a whole new world - There are millions to be made... if you can survive. Rather than a fast, nippy combat vessel, you have a big bulky lump of a ship that moves like a dead cow and is a prime target for anyone who fancies their chances. Turret View is a weird way to fight, as well and with the sort of powerful (but high energy) weaponry that freighters carry, it takes good marksmanship. It takes a good pilot to be successful with a fighter... it takes an amazing one for a freighter! A real challenge is to load a freighter out with missiles and torpedoes and send *that* on combat missions!

2/. Find all the wrecks.
These are wrecked ships like the Flint in the New York Badlands, scattered around. There's at least 50 of them, many of which have ultra-amazing weaponry or valuable commodities to pick up. To achieve this, you'll need to visit and search every system, which will get you some stunning vistas too!

3/. Find all 5 sleeper ships.
Not done this myself, yet, but supposedly each of the ships are around somewhere. One is a wreck, another is glaringly obvious from when you first start playing a new game. The others are... 'somewhere'.

4/. Try Multiplayer!
Even in 2012, there are still thousands of FL players online. Most servers are up 24/7 and range from complete vanilla FL, through slightly modded ones, to ones where everything is completely overhauled.

5/. Play with Mods.
There is a simple Mod Manager that these load through and you can combine some of them. Many Multiplayer servers have their own which work online or in Solo play - They range from slight alterations, to providing new ships, weapons, commodities, planets, bases, factions and even entirely new systems. For example, some allow you to play any ship from Star Wars, others are almost completely new games in themselves.
