And Mike is playing himself, so, its not like back in the late 90s you didnt know who Mike "knock you the eff out in round 1" Tyson is, so, ya...

What's interesting about the scene is mentioned in the short docu on the DVD. Most of the scenes didn't have a script but were ad-libbed. So was the scene when RDJ's character is trying to flirt with Mike Tyson. Robert had no idea what would happen and was a little scared, Tyson could beat him to death. So we can assume it wasn't a fake punch he got.
