Any scene featuring the line "She got a pretty pussy, don't she?" is bound to be brilliant. Simply put, there is nothing realistic about this trashy movie. And, as for the presence of racism in this film, I got pretty tired of hearing 'white boy' throughout the film. Why anyone would want to enter the ghetto in order to "relate" to a bunch of racist, drug-using, criminal loud mouths is beyond me. Gnomesayin?
shareGranted, the movie wasn't the greatest but it was dead on as far Rich white kids daytrippin in the hood go... Saw it all the time where I'm from, which isn't NYC. White girls doing all the things no self respecting Blk girl her age wouldn't do, White boys trying to be "down". It was always a joke to see, but that's reality. They calling those kids "white boys" because they didn't respect them, and wanted them to KNOW there would never be any respect. Seriously, how can you respect someone who wanted to imitate the lifestyles of the less forunate by hanging around you? That was growing up in the ninties. It's more of class struggle than race. Nowdays, I see suburban kids of all races dying, literally, dying to be "down"....
