To anyone who has seen this flick:
1. Do you know what Rodriguez shot this film on/ what sort of equipment he used? I know he used an Arriflex 16mm on El Mariachi, but IMDB doesn't have the technical data on this movie...
2. Also, was this the first film he made?

I have no idea about what equiptment he used to film, but he had made around 40 shorts before this, edited on to video recorders.
