She looked a lot better towards the middle of the show when her hair was a little wavy at the ends and she dressed more feminine, but overall I think Jackie's assessment that she looked like a lumberjack was pretty accurate. She was just so butch looking and I didn't see her to be attractive for a woman at all. I'm a straight female so maybe I just don't get it, but I could not at all see why the guys were always talking about her like she was one of the hottest women who had ever lived. She wasn't ugly, but she wasn't by any means beautiful either IMO.

She was pretty, but nothing spectacular. But I've seen far less attractive girls get ogled by guys so it's realistic that the guys in the small town liked her.

I wondered this myself. Donna was hot, but she's not as hot as the show made her out to be. Then again, when I see pictures of girls I was at school with who were deemed "hot" on social media, I wonder what all the fuss was about.

In the first season there was still a little femininity there but after that she just came off as too much like a hermaphrodite.
I never found Jackie hott but she had a prettier face than Donna.
The prettiest girl was the young Kitty. The only other woman they treated as hott who actually was has to be Midge.

Yes, Donna's hot, she's tall, feisty, has red hair and some meat on her bones.

Laurie is the one I don't find attractive, she's bony, bug-eyed and looks about 40.
