Was Donna actually hot?

She looked a lot better towards the middle of the show when her hair was a little wavy at the ends and she dressed more feminine, but overall I think Jackie's assessment that she looked like a lumberjack was pretty accurate. She was just so butch looking and I didn't see her to be attractive for a woman at all. I'm a straight female so maybe I just don't get it, but I could not at all see why the guys were always talking about her like she was one of the hottest women who had ever lived. She wasn't ugly, but she wasn't by any means beautiful either IMO.

I'll go by what my husband says and say no. He considers her very masculine but she is a very handsome (if not pretty or feminine) woman.

To you, Baldrick, the Renaissance was just something that happened to other people, wasn't it?

reply

I think she was the 70s definition of hot with her height and hair

reply

Well, she does have nice boobs.

reply

I thought she was pretty hot, yeah.

reply

No she wasn't hot. She was dumpy looking, overweight and funny looking. When they called her hot Donna it made me laugh because they should have called her fat Donna.

reply

I don't think she was fat at all. I just don't think she was all that attractive. Her face was just average, and her build overall looked very masculine to me.

reply

She wasn't hot, but she still way out of Eric's league.

reply

I find Donna to be way more attractive than Jackie. I liked her character more too. I just don't get this fascination everyone has with Mila Kunis. She's so average and not a good actress in my opinion. I'd prefer Laura Prepon over her any day.

reply

I never got the Jackie being hot thing in the first few seasons, especially since Kunis was very much underage at the time, I think in the 14 to 17 age range from when they started shooting until the end of Season 3. Plus, Jackie's character was extremely nagging and had an overbearing personality. However, she was HILARIOUS, but I just don't see how people thought she was hot while acting like that. But I definitely thing she was stunning by Season 8, very beautiful and mature looking.

To me, Laurie was truly the hottest female on the show, because while she was, as Eric called her, "the devil", she also exuded sex appeal and had a playful, flirty personality.

reply

Laurie was a case of butter-face.

reply

THAT IS A LOT OF WORDS JUST TO EXPLAIN HOW YOU DON'T LIKE KIDS.

reply

Exactly..Kunis was the weakest actor on the show by a distance and her acting didn't even improve over the course of 8 seasons. Plus, in terms of looks she's the definition of average, Prepon over her any day of the week.

reply

Season 3 was easily the one where she looked the least hot. Something about her hairstyle that season, it was so lifeless and plain. She looked smoking hot in the first couple of seasons with the flaming red hair, though.

reply

In the earlier seasons, she was pretty even though she was tall. Would never have called her fat though. Didn't like her with blonde hair either. Think she started to show her age a bit towards the end aswell.

reply

Pretty even though she was tall?? Most of the exceptional beauties in the world are tall!!!

reply

More of a response to the people ITT, using it against her.

It's a small town, how many options do you think they had? Plus the guys for the most part liked hanging out with her and did not like being around Jackie. I think too many people are looking at it from the "which celebrity is prettier" vs. "what kind of girl would small town teenage guys go for?"

Consider the daffodil. And while you're doing that I'll be over here looking through your stuff.
