It is good, really good and most likely will not be released on DVD officially.

No. I love this series. I wish it was. They don't seem to want to release it.

From what I've heard, it's another case of music rights holding up a DVD release. There's a lot of licenced music in the show (the Peter Gabriel theme song, the Annie Lennox song at the end of "It's a Helluva Life.") that would need to be either cleared or removed before a home media release could happen.
