There's too many Julie movies to chose from!
I have to agree with you that 'One Special Night' is wonderful!
I've only had it for 2 days! (got it off tv -duh1)
Anyway i've had it about 2 days and have already seen it 4 times!! (so twice a day!¬!)
Every time Julie falls flat on her face (bless) in the snow i end up in stitches!!! I keep rewinding that bit over and over again and it never ceases to amuse me!!!
Loverly warm little movie! (arrr notice i said loveRly! no lovEly My Fair Lady has gone to my head!!!)
I agree the chemistry between Julie and James Garner is great and it must be great for them bother to keep acting together! (Americanisation of Emily, Victor/Victoria for example)
i'm a huge Julie Andrews fan and I get a lot of stick for it becasue i'm 16! But i dont care!!!

p.s i love the music in Thoroughy Modren Millie!

*HRH The Princess Of All Things Nice*.

Hello! :o)

I saw this movie about 2 or 3 years ago & bought the DVD a few months afterwards. I ABSOLUTELY love this movie & it has become one of my favorite Holiday movies. Julie Andrews and James Garner are just perfect together. You can feel the love, hope and warmth that their characters project. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this one! :o)
Do you by chance happen to know the name of the song by Sarah Vaughan that's being played when Catherine (Julie Andrew's character)leaves the Christmas party at the hospital & gets into her SUV and pops in the CD? If you could let me know, I'd greatly appreciate it.
Happy Holidays! :)

I have been dying to know too! But I'm still not sure which on it is (but I'm still learning being a new Sarah Vaughn fan since I saw this movie ;)). I personally think it's a very touching scene. Catherine (Julie's character) changes cars (as suggested), wears her hair loser (again, as suggested), and plays Sarah Vaughn (who Robert, James Garner's character, said he "would pick over anyone today"). By then you really know that, whether or not they think they should, they do belong together.

I love Julie Andrews. She is absolutly my favorite actress. I love her voice and it is so sad that she doesn't have it anymore. I own so many Julie Andrews movies I have no space for my other ones. My friends make fun of me because I love her so much. I am only 17 and they all say I have such an old soul, but I like having an old soul. It gives me the chance to enjoy the movies and music I like. I think though that my favorite Julie movie would have to be The Sound of Music. It is such a long movie but worth every minute of your time. She is so wonderful in Princess Diaries 1 & 2. I hope they make more. I wish I had a grandmother like her. She just seems so sweet and all you want to do is sit down and have tea with her and talk.

Julie Andrews was the person who made me fall in love with the magic of movies. I was taken to see MARY POPPINS when I was six and saw it five more times during its theatrical release. To this day, it remains my absolute favorite movie EVER! I also love THE SOUND OF MUSIC, STAR!, VICTOR/VICTORIA and I saw this TV movie for the first time about a year ago. I don't know what it is about Julie and James Garner, but every time they make a movie together, it's just magical.

I love, love, love Julie Andrews! I think I've seen all but 2 or 3 of her movies (some are quite hard to find). She is one-of-a-kind and very few actresses can come close to her talent!

My top 10 JA movies:
1. Sound of Music
2. Mary Poppins
3. Victor/Victoria
4. The Americanization of Emily
5. Star!
6. Relative Values
7. Darling Lili
8. Duet for One
9. Thoroughly Modern Millie
10. One Special Night

I saw the movie last night and was blown away by how good she looks as she was over 60 when it was made.
