71 year old father with 20 something daughters?

I love these movies where the parents are in their 70's and the daughters are in their 20's with their mother about to expire. I am certainly not saying a person should lose their mother when they are in their twenties, but it seems highly unlikely you would have elderly parents when you are twenty something. I am 60 and still have my mother. That is more realistic (these days at least).
