The waitress in the diner...

Was the waitress in the diner -- the older one you meet first, not the cute one who sits at Jerry's table -- played by the same actress who played Cameron Diaz's older friend in "Something About Mary"? I really thought she was; the voice was spot on, I think.

Wasn't she also the Senior Stewardess in SNAKES ON A PLANE or was that another actress?

That was a totally different actress. She played on that movie "dead end" as the mother. (the one from snakes on a plane) but that is the only other thing besides snakes on a plane that I have seen her in. It is not the girl on something about mary and ringmaster though.
