Violent asian cinema

Looking for grimy violent asian movies who also happen to be excellent films. I've already seen films like Harakiri (and other Kobayashi films), Sword of doom, Vengeance is mine, most from Fukasaku and so on. Also seen Kitanos films, Election series, Cure, yada yada and probably all or most of the modern ones that matches these criterias.

Not looking for movies like The story of Riki-Oh

So as a hail mary really, does anyone have any really obscure gems from the 70s, 80s, or 90s in the vein of previously mentioned films?
