Pretty risky stuff for a kids movie
They not only said the word $hit in this movie, they mentioned Playboy. Not to mention Eva Mendes looked rather sexual in the film.

Welcome to the 90s. I feel I should warn you against watching kids movies of the 80s, because they were even more grown-up. I guess back in those days we didn't feel like little words and scenes weren't going to scar a kid for life. Unlike modern day films which sugar coat and censor to such a high level, than even movies adults want to watch are effected.
Compare Batman Returns to Dark Knight, or Captain American (1990) to Captain America (2011). I'm not sure how America got so over-the-top censored, but I hate to break it to you, kids use words worse than '$hit', and are aware of things far more sexually explicit than Playboy, or seeing a woman's leg in a shower.
