Leon Redbone?

It certainly sounds like Leon Redbone, doesn't it? In the credits of the movie, it says the song was written and produced by Doug Berlent -- but says nothing about who sings it. I see on a "Golf: Greatest Hits" CD, the song is sung by James Lewis:

I can't find any sign this was every sung by Leon Redbone, although I also assumed it was him.
