Great Scott! I must say that I am veritably shocked that there has thus far, been no discussion on here as regards this unequivocally sublime work of cinematic art.
From the jaw dropping and ground breaking special effects and the Oscar worthy performances to the heartwarming sub-story of the little boy vampire impersonator, this is a criminally underated master work which I feel has been overlooked for far too long by imperious film scholars who are ostensibly, overly enamoured with the decidedly inferior works of Kubrick, Goddard, Kurosawa et al.
Indeed, it is now my lifes mission to get this film the recognition it so richly deserves!
