About a year ago, 'Cartoon network' ran it for a week or two during it's 6-7 AM slot and I thought that was a primer for a DVD release but nothing came of it... Anyone know the total # of episodes?

I'd love to see a release of 'Mister T' ("Ahhhhhhh, Mistah T!" and 'The Karate Kid' cartoon too.

If you go to a website called "Cybertoon's Cartoon Campaign" and go to their sister site they list several cartoons and all the episodes in original airing order. I think this show is on that list.

You know i have gotten angry with cartoon network because I sent them a postal letter several months ago asking questions about things and suggesting to them that the reason their popularity has gone down so much is because of how most of the cartoons that they have been showing in the last 8 to 10 years are not as popular as the older cartoons made from 1930 to 1990. But they have never sent a reply letter answering my questions. One thing i can tell you is I believe if they were to show more of the older cartoons instead of just Scooby Doo, Flintstones, Jetsons and Looney Tunes things would be better because I feel we are getting sick of seeing these new shows that the human characters of do not really look human. I Do know if they were to show old classics like the original Transformers of 1984-1987, the original 1983-1987 G.I.Joe show, Chuck Norris Karate Kommandos, Mr T., The Rambo force of freedom show, the original 1983 He-Man cartoon and not that not so good new version, and show other classic Hanna Barbera shows that have not been seen since original air dates like the animated version of the Dukes of Hazzard and Challenge of the Gobots they might get their popularity back up if they would just listen to what the public says and give the public what they want.

I use to really love 'Cartoon network' back in the day but I guess the public's tastes change and fads come and go and so now they're in their 'Anime/Japanimation' phase...

With 70's/80's pop culture so popular right now as Gen-Xers get nostalgic for their (our) youth, it looks like there'd be a place for a 4 hour block dedicated to those toons or better yet a channel... Of course the rights stuff gets tricky and because so many of those toons are coming out on DVD it complicates things even more.

If only I ran the universe .

You know one thing i figure if someone could corner the person in charge of programming at Cartoon Network and make that person realize the reason so many cartoons are coming out on DVD is because of how they refuse to air them I beleive it would get that person to realize that the way a tv station keeps it's popularity is to show the shows that viewers want instead of that garbage that has came out recently. Out of all shows that have came over from Japan there is one show I have to say is good that was made in the late 1970's early 1980's and that show is called Starvengers. The human characters on that show look just like real people do instead of these ugly things with ballon heads and stick bodies. If we could only convince that station that if they showed the older shows that have not been seen in years it would be a great thing.

There's 1 episode on DVD now, as part of WB's Saturday Morning Cartoons 1980s set, along with an episode of Mr. T

Dragonzord! Mastodon! Pterodactyl! Triceratops! Saber Toothed Tiger! Tyrannosaurus!

The DVD WhiteRangerPower is talking about is pretty cool for what it is. You can pop it in and grab a bowl of Fruity Pebbles and pretend it's an 80's Saturday morning for a few hours. But it's sort of frustrating to only have one episode of each show, which keeps the re-watchability factor low.

The entire series has just been released on the Warner Bros. Archives website.

Beat me to it. Still waiting on Mr. T though.

Yeah, I'm about a year late on this post, but if you haven't seen by now. Mr. T Season 1 is on their site as well.
