episodes or bits that used to scare you

alright, I know this sounds weird, but considering, some of the eps or bits in this show were actually pretty scary.. like... the ep where Christopher Robin got grabbed by those monsters under the bed, and they had to go save him. Or.. Piglets nightmare with the Heffalumps...

the point is, what bits from this show used to scare you?

I agree, it is scary in some episodes. I was about 4 when i used to watch this and the under the bed episode scared me so much! I still remember being frightened!

Hilda: What's my bra doing on the roof?
Salem: Erm, the squirrels needed a nutfeeder...

Here's a third vote for that under-the-bed episode. Such an extremely freaky episode seems out of place in such an upbeat series.

Supermodels...spoiled stupid little stick figures mit poofy lips who sink only about zemselves.

I used to get freaked out with the episode "Cleanliness is Next To Badliness" because of the creepy talking crayons and the scary Crud.

He's creepy, man!

I was so scared while I was watching that episode when they are playing chess, and piglet dreams while looking after the knight... There were that extremly annoying laughter or whatever in that box piglet had to look in... I didn't like it.

I remember a lot of parts from this show that used to scare me. For some reason, the episode where Tigger gets trapped in the wishing well on his birthday terrified me. Probably the creepy shading...

As much as I loved it, this show could get really dark at times.

The episode I remember seeing a really, really long time ago where Pooh pops a balloon or something and goes to balloon court and all the balloons are like...evil looking :|

And that episode where Pooh breaks the sky?? I actually JUST found that VHS a week or so ago from when I watched it countless times over ten years ago! I can still quote most of it now...

It came with "Rabbit takes a Holiday" and "Owl in the Family" or w/e episodes :D

Ballonatics always scared me the most.

It has to be Cleanliness is Next to Impossible for me, especially for the green monster and how visually dark some of the episode looked. Still love the episode though, but even as a kid I found it very freaky.

"The Great Honey Pot Robbery" did it for me. "HOOONNNEEEEEYYYYYYY..."

Mine would have to be the episode "Ought to be in pictures". There is a point in that where Pooh gets attacked by the discarded carrot costume. It's the weird breathing sound effects they added to that scene that made it scary as hell.

Heffalumps and Woozles...Tigger's song about the terror of getting a bath...even Rabbit's bookends used to creep me out for some reason, lol. But I loved every last thing about the show, even when it was scary or somehow slightly freaky.

For some reason, the characters' emotions around the fake "jagular" during the "King of the Beasties" episode convinced me it was genuinely scary. Mind you, I felt this from infancy to age five, so not very relevant to my own pride.
