Favorite opening?

Do you like the present-day Osgood opening with the high-tech version of "Abblasen," or do you hew more towards the original opening with the scratchy vinyl "Abblasen" of the Kuralt years? I hew more towards the original, as I believe that the program was presented a lot better then (when I was a boy) than it is now, with the sun rising against the black screen, then shooting back and turning into the CBS eye, which left an orangish trail behind it as it came forward. I also remember the window-blind-like animation of the days of the week, and the way that each one flashed in unison, and then the list disappeared by the same window-blind animation as before. The days then came from the bottom of the screen to the top by means of a stair-like animation. Finally, "Sunday" dipped from the top of the screen to the bottom and then back to the top, leaving an orangish trail behind. The trail dissipated as "Sunday" flashed and "Morning" appeared below, then the full title flashed as "CBS News" appeared on top.
