In Defense of Tina Majorino (Alice, in this version) -----

Someone, in one of the re's to a post here, slammed Tina Majorino: "besides, who'd want to see the girl who was in "Napoleon Dynamite" --as Alice?"

Well, have you seen her in "When A Man Loves a Woman" (w/Meg Ryan and Andy Garcia---------or, "Corrina, Corrina" (w/Ray Liotta and Whoppi Goldberg)----- both films she played the daughter w/such depth for such a young age, it absolutely amazed me. She deserves credit for being a really fine actress, hands down. And, she does a great job as Alice in this film version, as well.

Just. . . . . IMAGINE

I thought she made a fine Alice. This is one of my favorited versions.

I have to admit though, that when the flowers were making fun of her when she wanted directions, and she ran off, I kept thinking "Your mom goes to college...".

You won't understand that reference unless you've seen Napoleon Dynamite.
