was disappointing..

Unfortunately, i have to admit i agree with the critiquer(sp?) on this movie..it was pretty boring and generic. It was good to see Holly Robinson again. But one thing that got on my nerves was how the kid (HOlly's son) was trying to be a hero early on in the movie( I thought, oh lord, don't tell me he's going to save the day) I'll admit i was pretty glad he turned out NOT to be the total hero in the end, though i think he did do something that helped his family to live a little longer, til other events allowed them to escape unharmed. Of course, I didn't want the family to DIE, but it would have been nice to see them have to work a little harder- and in some new, interesting ways, to live. And at least the boy looked scared for some of the time he was hiding in the house.

Anyway, sorry to say, i wouldn't recommend this either, though i'm sure Holly's been in other movies that have been a lot better.

I really enjoyed this movie. What I did not like however was the constant dialogue where the invaders kept finding it hard to believe that a dark complexion family could own such a home. I don't understand why such nonsense had to be written in the script and found such dialogue insulting and annoying. All skin types have the potential to own such a home, and had the family been of lighter skin then such questions would never have been asked. I am sick and tired of the stereo-typing done in movies and would love to watch a film where skin colour is not even mentioned.
