Entertaining film

I agree, but I think we're in the minority here. Haven't read any of the books, but I like all of the performances. Monica Potter is so effective here that I had trouble buying her as a "good" character in Parenthood. Freeman's great, as is Michael "Voice from the Grave" Wincott as Soneji. Even the kid playing Megan (Mika Boorem) is spot on. Heartbreaking to see Anton Yelchin as a kid playing Dimitri.

Good popcorn movie.
