How did the little girl know (spoiler)...

How did the little girl know what was up, with Jezzie? When Jezzie showed up at the barn.

reply

Because something about Jezzie seemed off and the girl was wondering why Jezzie didn't tell her why she killed him and she was wondering why there was no one else with her.

She's a smart kid, did you see her school?!

reply

She's quite a genius, can make a kitchen explode, destroy a bulb, and basically uncover the whole plot from her locked up room.
To quote a very good comic, "When I was her age, I think I was potty trained"

reply

Being book smart doesn't mean street smart.
Those who are good with books a lot of the time are difficult in social situations.
So for a kid, and she is still a kid, to in a split second work out the secret service woman who's looked after her safety for 3 years is actually her kidnapper is too far fetched for me.

Then obviously you're very ignorant of the world.

Intelligent children do exist. Just because one is a child, doesn't mean one is dumb. As an earlier poster remarked, didn't you notice the school she attended? They don't take just any kids. Only gifted children.

reply

I was more thinking rich children, but maybe I missed out when was stated it was a school for the smart...

reply

She was a smart kid. They do exist. And Jezzie was acting "off". She could hear it in her voice.

reply

I wonder it too
The little girl soon has suspicion on Jezzie just because she came alone.
Then all saviors who come alone in many movies are supposed to be suspected as the bad guys. LOL

reply

Ding, Ding, Ding! You've discovered one of the many impossibly silly plot points in this crappy movie!

Also, why immediately after THIS part, did she INSTANTLY trust the Morgan Freeman character who was a complete stranger to her?

Makes ZERO SENSE.

reply

Meghan's reaction would have made more sense, if Jezzie had been the kind of person she didn't like much to begin with, but in her case Jezzie was like a role model for her, some one she thought very highly of..So, in light of all these facts, there would be absolutely no reason for Meghan to second-guess Jezzie's intention, just because she realizes that Jezzie came alone...That part of the plot was a stretch to say the least. But other than that, it was an entertaining thriller

reply

After being kidnapped by a teacher who worked at her school, then being kidnapped by security guy who worked at her school, it stands to reason that she wouldn't trust another person who worked at her school. 😂

^^^ This. After 2 authority trustworthy figures YouTube known for years betray and kidnap you, you tend to be suspicious.
