Symon, the banality of evil?


I mean he leaves his five children and wife, moves on to another family, all the while lamenting about his own father's absence. Dude, it's called self-consciousness, have some.

And I don't think he thinks about this stuff. He certainly doesn't mention the irony. He just goes about, lives, and this is the result. And you can't blame him, because it looks like he's dumb as a set of bricks. A destroyer of lives, but still likable.

Ah, human nature. How thy you continue to amaze me.
