followed by "Come Out, Come Out .. Wherever You Are" (very difficult to follow the twist throughout) and "The Colour of Blood" (major surprise about half way through completely changes the focus of the story)

shareSomeone at the Top of the Stairs, first season, ep three, starring Donna Mills. I saw it as a kid and it just stayed with me all these years. I finally got a chance to see it again and I'm still blown away by the story. The ep looks so dated now, but that kind of makes it all the more classic. And the twist is just so twisted.
shareYes, I've never forgotten "Stairs" either. I recently bought the series, watched this episode last night and I think it's still toe-curlingly creepy...
