Why is it called Drive Me Crazy?

Can anyone explain the title, except the reference to the Britney Spears SOng?

No one says it throughout the movie.

They only thing I can think is that Nicole and Chase were driving Dulcy and Brad craxy by going out with each other.

Or that Chase and Nicole were driving each other crazy by acting like they liked each other and knowing themselves they didn't but in the end really liking each other.

I don't get it.
Can anyone explain?

~But that's just me~

the bit about chase and nicole liking each other, but not admitting it, driving them crazy sounds right to me...

Tell me, you're so into me
That I'm the only one you will see
Tell me I'm not in the blue, oh
That I'm not wastin
My feelins on you
Loving you means so much more
More than anything I ever felt before

You drive me crazy
I just can't sleep
I'm so excited, I'm in too deep
Crazy, but it feels alright
Baby thinkin of you keeps me up all night

the lyrics kind of suggest this too....

I know this is old but I'll go on and answer it. In the trivia section for this movie it states the movie was changed to its current title when the Britney Spears song was added to the soundtrack. I have no clue what the working title for the film was before they changed it. But the producers obviously changed it so they could closely market it with Britney's song which was a hit. If you saw the music video for You drive me crazy then you would see the main actors had cameo's. It was one big marketing tool.

Britney Spears and MJH were friends in real life, and she asked her to include the song on the films soundtrack, thus changing the title and increasing its appeal to teenagers

Surely it's a loose reference to the Designated Driver concept used as a backdrop for the interraction in the film?
