In one of the scenes, Nicole and Dulcie are talking to each other about Chase, and Nicole brings up the fact that his Mom died of Cancer, and I can't remember correctly, but claims that as the reason he is pro-animal testing or something . . . ?
I just didn't understand the whole situation. I don't even know what it meant.

I think by animal testing there is a way of possibly finding some kind of cure for cancer.

shareI think the second poster has it correct. Chase doesn't want to protest against animal testing, because medical testing on animals could have found a cure for cancer and saved his mother.
