Brooks' Farewell...


Comedian Albert Brooks did it (directing and co-writing a comedy, that is) again, for the last time, in this hilarious and spirited assault of the scum that runs Hollywood. Sharon Stone is an utter scream as the titular character who inspires, but doesn't directly help. Brooks' low-key performance is right-on again. Andie McDowell could have been worse.

what do you mean his "farewell"?

he's done several projects since then and continues to do so.

Good point. The original poster made it sound as if Brooks was dead perhaps unintentiionally and he is not.
