Who are ... and who is ... ?

... those two "redheads" who sit on the street playing beaseball with a can in front of the entrance to this strange house. Sorry, I've only seen this movie once so I don't know all the details and the names of houses, addresses, etc.
... the young guy with the knife at the very end of the movie? He kind of reminds me of the older one playing baseball with the little one. So, who is he?
