Since this is a TV movie, they didn't show the needles piercing the flesh. They only suggested it.

Life is never fair, and perhaps it is a good thing for most of us that it is not.

Was it just me, or did anyone else think the old lady was a succubus?

If you love Jesus Christ and are 100% proud of it copy this and make your signature!

That's it! I was trying to think of the entity she was supposed to represent.

The sad/good thing is that the movie didn't seem to modify her looks that much. With her thin, angular features, she just naturally looks scary.

She does look naturally scary, but I think that's a good thing. This movie would have been better with more quirky characters like that, and Hollywood would be better as well. Long after I've forgotten this film (and I'm well on my way, two hours after watching it), I'll remember the scenes with the knitting needles and the subway.

ummm, its not a tv movie, i saw it in the theater

and you do see the old lady with the needles stab at the camera being the guys POV, but you didnt see the actual stab, you however did see him later with a "minor" vision problem and coming down with a slight case of death

I'd rather be a fake somebody, than a real nobody- Tom Ripley
