It's simple, it's better for four to die than 24 or however many were in the community. It's a stupid way to put it I know, but seriously think about it. With four people already dead there's bound to be inquiring minds over the disappearance of the four. So what do you think it would be like if there were to be people looking for the four plus all those in the community? And if it were found out about the mass killings, they're operation (the pot farm) as well as themselves would be doomed. Mind you the farmers are probably already worried with the four dead that all could end up doomed.
