I totally agree.

Why is it all the shows I love get cancelled, and then never appear for sale? Its the age of DVDs and I'd love this show and so many others on DVD, jsut as I know many other would.

It's just sad.

Sony owns the rights to the series, and several times they have had "What would you like to see on DVD next year" polls and "The Net" usually comes in 4th or 5th place out of about 30 to 40 selections.

In the past Sony has released "one hit wonders" (series that last less than a year), so I wouldn't give up hope yet, especially now that "silk stalkings" third season is currently being released withen the next month.

hey there Im also interested in this series they filmed a episode in our apt and we never saw the finished project so if you hear of anything please let me know Im not sure which episode it was ( we lived in a apt downtown Vancouver B.C. Canada they filmed for 4 days in our place

Good news, although this news may only concern Australians, sorry guys! But The Net will be released in Australia in a "Complete Series" box set, this will be released on the same date of The Net 2.0 on 21st March 2006.

Be aware of "The NET" sold on Ebay. Picture quality is worse than terrible and it is just wasting your money.

I just won 'The Net' series on Ebay but never got it...so beware of The Net on Ebay. It was supposed to be an XMAS gift too...very disappointed.

The Net will be released internationally on DVD, as it was said by the australian guy. It will be released on a Complete Series box-set.

I don't think it has anything to do with Eric Szmanda being in CSI. The series was good enough to be on DVD and with the new movie "The Net 2.0" released on DVD too it's a good marketing catch.

The net: the complete series is scheduled fot release in the netherlands the 13th of april 2006. I never expected this show to be released on dvd and definitely not in the netherlands. The show has never been a big succes here (it was broadcasted at a new and failed network - fox8)so i am very excited about it's release and will defenitely buy it!!

Has this been released in the US? I found this because Eric Szmanda is my favorite actor on CSi and I found the Sandra Bullock movie of this in my basement -no idea why it was down there- but I've watched it like three times now -found ti yesterday- and I'd kill to see the series, which aired when I was 8 so... A lot of people don't have region free DVD players, and UK editions, and other nations are in a seperate region from the U.S.
there are hacking codes to let you play any region-dvd on your player, but if you buy a certain type of player you won't even need the codes.
[ironic that i'm talking about hacking so we can watch the Net. -_-]
And yeah, Eric is amazing.<3

I found it on an australian site, so i'm going to buy it off there and use my DVD player to it's advantage. ;P

I hate that, though. DVDs shouldn't be just regional. You pay for the player, you pay for the disc, it's ridiculous that you wouldn't be able to watch them, just because you're not in a particular place. psh.

It's out in Holland now. Picture quality isn't too great, probably because it was filmed on video (instead of film). It's tv-quality.

Going fairly cheap these days in the UK.

Weird we get the Net on DVD and Odyessy 5 but don't get a region 2 of Nowhere Man.

and we even get FX the Series on region 2.

I'd love to see it too! Just wish they would release it in North America. Could get a copy of the Aussie version easily - but wouldn't be able to play it! Augh!

Makes no sense that they would release it internationally but not in US or Canada

Amazon UK is offering the series as part of their 4 DVDs for £10 Promotion. I am in the US but am planning on making an order. Anyone in the States want to split the purchase with me plus shipping?

This would be Region 2 but if you have a region free player which are very cheap nowadays you could watch this.

Don't give up just yet, ADG-81. All of the seasons of "Dinosaurs" were released on DVD, and I never thought that would happen.
