is it accurate?

i havent seen this movie yet and i was wonderin if it was worth watching. i heard people say it wasnt like audrey at all, then i hear others say it was great. so, is it pretty accurate? and is it really how audreys life went? (also is the acting good?)

i think the acting is very well. i think they chose the actresses to play Audrey perfectly. you'll read posts on this page saying the Jen was a terrible choice to play Audrey. personally, i think those ppl are full of it. i love BAT and in my opinion, Jen looks remarkably like Audrey. Emmy did a fantastic job portraying the cinema icon as a teenager, from going to school in England, to being forced to return home, and then nearly dying. granted, Jen has a better singing voice then Audrey did, but whatcha gonna do? as far as the accent, nobody knows how difficult it is to pull off a perfect accent that is quite different than your own until you get put into that situation. Audrey even had to make her accent slightly more American to appeal herself more easily to the American audience. can those who criticize do what she has done in her lifetime? somehow, i doubt it. and Audrey grew up in Holland, then went to an English boarding school, so try pulling off that accent. and Frances Fisher, who plays her mother, is a Brit playing a Dutch baronness. do you see anybody criticizing her? methinks not.

Wolverine: Hey hey, it's me.
Cyclops: Prove it.
Wolverine: You're a dick.
Cyclops: Ok.

You idiot, Francis Fisher is no icon and "Jen", as you put it (rolls eyes) was awful. Nobody but an egotistical fool would dream of stepping into Audrey Hepburn's shoes.

As far as the accent, that's not a difficult task at all. A good actress would master it in no time at all. An American accent is more of a challenge, but I imagine "Jen" would have difficulty even with that!

Are you at all familiar with Audrey Hepburn? So much was incorrect, or left out entirely. Shows how little you know.

"Jen" is laughable in this role, and should I ever see her in anything else, I will be sure to stare at paint drying instead.
