anyone else hate the fact.....

IT ENDED AT BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY'S???

that is one of the worst things about the film as Audrey's life was extremely interesting after BAT and she made some great movies!! I know it would have made the movie a lot longer but they missed out like half her life.

I agree. I thought that the movie was going to continue despite JLH's mediocre protrayal.

Well, if you've seen very many biopics about iconic stars, you'll come to realize, it's almost always like that. Example: "Lucy"---the 2003 biopic intended to be about the life of Lucille Ball, when in-fact it was more about the birth of her stardom. Once it got to that point, once the star reaches his/her peak, the picture ends.

That's most likely why a biopics opening sequence is often the very ending as-well. So, yeah, it seems that the way a biopic starts is an excellant indicator of how it will end.

Too bad though, b/c, like you, i wish they would do the biographical aspect of these films justice, by actually continuing w/ the bio. I keep hoping someone will do that for Lucille Ball-- 2 biopics for her so far, and still not right! When will these movie-makers learn!

Oh well... i must admit, they're still likable movies though.

It was the same with the Marilyn Monroe biopic Blonde. That was even stranger however in that Monroe was speaking to camera before the plot went into flashback form. It was kind of like an "An Evening with Marilyn Monroe" format, truly strange.

Plus Poppy Montgomery was playing her. I like her as an actress, but she looks - and didn't sound or try to sound - nothing like Monroe.

"Fasten your seatbelts, it's going to be a bumpy night!"

I disagree, right off the top of my head, I can say that Faye Dunaway nailed Joan Crawford's persona.

I know D:

And I hated how they made Audrey out to be some anorexic girl who couldn't even eat a pastry?
