'Sweet Talking Guy' at end?

Just watched my laserdisc of this (and have to laugh at the people who've worn out VHS copies!) and saw that "Sweet Talking Guy" by The Chiffons is listed on the cover as the last song- I assume it's supposed to play during the credits when the band is waving at the audience from above the stage, but all you hear there is crowd noise. Was this song in the theatrical release and removed from the video versions due to music rights, or was it never there to begin with?
