i can remember a show from the late 90's early 00's that im pretty sure was on ITV but could have been BBC. its about this family that went upstairs to talk to an inanimate object like a box or something to get advice on different situations. think there was 3 children - 1 of them may have been called georgina...all i can remember about her is that at some stage she painted her room in a Parisian style...she was a goth. the boy was a geek i think

God its been driving me mad if u can remember anything about it please let me know!!

it sounds like it could be the CBBC series 'the wild house' that was on back in the 90s. i can't remember the actual object, but i remember the younger sister used to go upstairs and get advice from a kind of astrologer/horoscope type voiceover. if i remember right i think she also used to stand in the upstairs hallway and talk to the audience/camera. i think it was her older sister who was called georgina and who was the goth.

I too remember The Wild House. The brother use to always say, "I bet David Attenborough never had this trouble". They had a parrot. All their alarms would go off each morning. It was on in about 1997, though it was later repeated.
