Could have been so much better

I admit I was intrigued by the premise. But they made the Ruth character such a weirdo - so crazy - that it was hard to feel one bit of sympathy for her. I would have preferred the story to be of a kind, normal, sweet woman who finds out her husband's living a double-life. Then we could have loved her, and hated him. To me, that would have made a better story.

That's what makes this film so unique. We have quite alot films like you mentioned.

I also would have rather the character of Ruth been nuanced and complicated rather than outright nuts, but I liked the performances enough here to give this 6/10 stars.
