Or is this not a joke....

*sniggle*

MAGIC PUDDING!

*cough*
I'm ok...
*snort*

reply

AND I'M SORRY, HUGO!

*teehee*
Can't...stop......*guffaw*
Hugo....Geoffrey....

Make it go away!!

reply

It's actually quite a cute movie...if you're that way inclined (which I'm assuming you're not). And they all sing in it (I suppose that comment will further induce your laughter).
It is a CHILDREN'S CARTOON, and all cartoons need voices, so it's not like Sam Neill, Geoffery Rush, Hugo Weaving and John Cleese are stooping to a new low or anything.
And because it is a CHILDREN'S CARTOON, they don't expect "mature" morons such as yourself to watch it. So don't watch it. But don't make fun of the actors merely because of the absurdly hilarious title of the movie.

[Referring to 'The Simpsons']
"I'm playing a cat burglar. I've made it. This is the high point of my career. I'm really chuffed."
- Sam Neill

reply

I'm not making fun of the actors! I adore all those actors! I'm just sorry that they contributed their talents to a movie which many people either thought laughable (I'm not a moron, I just find this whole "Magic pudding" thing a bloody bit funny) or didn't really like. I can own my opinion, you know... you don't have to pan me just because you liked it. I haven't laughed at a film title in a while. Cut me some slack.
I'm happy you like the CHILDREN'S CARTOON
I love CHILDREN'S CARTOONS
Brave Little Toaster: Funny title, best kid's movie ever... EVER....
It's not a new low, just talent hidden when it should be brought into the open.

Sneer at what you will. Just don't let your face freeze like that.
I am inclined to singing (Brave Little Toaster, Hello!) and I like cute movies

So put a back to your scoffing assumptions which are totally absured, wrong, and simply a waste of energy. I'm still giggling.

"Worthless...I can't take this kinda pressure
I must confess one more dusty road
Would be just a road too long"
BRAVE LITTLE TOASTER

So thank you. My fingers needed a workout. Pansy

reply

Okay:

1. I obviously must've misinterpreted what you wrote. I apologise.
2. I'm not 'sneering' at anything.
3. I stand by the fact that everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
4. I agree the title is laughable.
5. At the time I first saw this CHILDREN'S CARTOON I was in fact a CHILD and still am only fourteen years old.
6. I apologise if what I wrote seemed to be 'scoffing assumptions which are totally absurd, wrong and simply a waste of energy'.
7. I was just annoyed that you laughed at Sam Neill, because he's my favourite actor. It was a spur of the moment thing.
8. Did you call me a pansy? Because that's just plain weird.

#So long, and thanks for all the fish.#

reply

As for the "weird" comment, I can only bow low and kiss your feet
"Thank you, my darling...gentle lady... for you have made my heart sing"
I LOVE BEING WACKED!
And don't run off at the quote... I'm not gay

I am 16... and I still watch BRAVE LITTLE TOASTER
I was not laughing at Sam Neill... love the man. I was laughing at the concept.
Pudding....*chortle* THAT WAS NOT LAUGHING

In conclusion, thank you for the retraction and apology. I accept.
This concludes this public service announcement.

LUCIUS REIGNS

Mwahaha. *takes bow, sweeping cloak behind me*

"Kill me again or take me as I am, for I shall not change."

reply

I don't mind how bad it is, as long as I can hear all the brilliant actors' voices...especially GEOFFREY'S! God, I could listen to that man all day!!!!!!

It's a Geoffrey Rush thing, you wouldn't understand! Captain of Team Barbossa

reply

Go team! Sorry, I couldn't stop laughing at it! Pudding! teehee...

Am I going to be charged for mutiny and court marshalled???
I'M SORRY! I STILL WANT TO BE FIRST MATE!

R.O.D the tv...nuff said

reply

I grew up with the cartoon adventures of the Magic Pudding. In Infant's and Primary School, the story was always on the reading list.

It's a pity that this film version loses so much of the real 'magic' of the original....

The Opener of the Way is waiting....

reply

It was written by Norman Lindsay, a great Australian painter who was played by Sam Neill in Sirens.

You would probably like sirens, it has naked women in it.
