Plot is wrong.

Am I missing something?

Burt Reynolds plays Logan McQueen, a veteran, tough cop who likes to see justice done by his own ways. Things go bad after McQueen is framed for murder. Now he has to escape from a maximum security prison, and seek, on the deadly streets of a hot and dangerous Miami, for the man who wants him down...

1) I didn't see him doing time in prison first of all.
2) Which means, how can he escape from a maximum security prison?
3) The WORST Burt Reynolds movie I've ever watched in my life.

Terribly written, horrible acting besides Reynolds.. But what the hell is up with the plot?
