Lesley Ann Warren is Brilliant

Saw this film shortly after it came out, and have never forgotten the incredibly moving scene wherein the boys go to see their guilt-ridden mother, stunningly played by Warren. This brief performance could be a blueprint used to support the "There are no small parts" adage. Hard to believe this tragic figure is so perfectly enacted by the same person who memorably portrayed the dizzy, loveable Norma in "Victor/Victoria" with such comic flair. Kudos to you, Ms. Warren!
