I am looking for a movie...

I am looking for a movie made with clay. It had scenes of neighbors putting up fence then killing themselves over a piece of property. Now the next scene should be from that movie but I'm not certain, it's a rocket made by an old man with a big grey beard and he's getting ready for takeoff. Really good clay animation, any help would be great. I watched this as a kid and never could find this movie.
