Bumpy (main character) is an adventurous dimwitted but generally nice guy who looks out for others. Like Spongebob

Squishington (best friend) - Shares most interests with Bumpy but is a little more timid and slow. Like Patrick

Molly (female friend) - Usually the voice of reason. Smarter, braver and tougher than Bumpy and Squishington . Like Sandy

I wouldn't necessarily say that Mr. Bumpy typically looks out for others.
